Literature is a kind of art in the form of letters or words. It is a tool of communicating one’s thoughts or ideas, emotions, and observations into writing. It is also a form of expression. In the fine arts, if painting is an expression of thoughts and emotions through the use of graphical representation, drawings or illustrations, then literature is an expression of thoughts and emotions through written and sometimes spoken words often transmitted and shared from generation to generation.
